Take First Step: Generate Free MLM Leads
Do you want free mlm leads, mlm business sucess, mlm downline growth? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you know that the first step is say ‘Good Bye’ to your free email account and say ‘Hello’ to your own domain.
Why? You need your own domain because it will give you the level of professionalism expected in network marketing industry. It is not optional but expected. So not having one, set you behind before you even send the first email.
So here are a few simple domain registration rules:
1. Keep it simple. You want to find a domain name that is:
- Easy to say
- Easy to spell
- Easy to remember
2. Register plural and hyphenated versions. This is in order to capture anyone who might misspell the name, and to protect you from competition who will intentionally register any domain similar to yours.
3. Use the top “key words’ in the domain itself. Search engines give high relevance to sites with top key words in the domain name itself, and a high relevance for .com names over any of the other extensions like.net, .biz, .org or .info.
4. Pay attention to phonics. Try not to use numbers unless you can purchase both the numerical and alphabetical names.
5. It should be generic in nature that can be used to promote anything now and in the future.
Choosing you domain name is a frustrating process because as you will find out, 9 out of 10 names you think of will already be taken. Coming up with something generic is pretty easy though. You can use your name in combination wit an extension like Inc., Partners, Company or LLC; you can also think of a company name, or “Doing Business As”, name.
6. You want to buy the .com, .net, and .biz versions of each domain you choose. This is not necessary, just recommended.
So go ahead and make purchase, but do not buy any of the other services your registration company will want to sell you like traffic generation, search engine submission, etc. You do not need those.
All you need are the domain name(s), and a basic hosting account which you can set up for a few dollars a month but I recommend Host Gator hosting instead as it come with one big advantage -unlimited space which you will find very valuable as your business grows.

As I continue to share with you my trips and falls but especially my successes on prospects and mlm leads generation, list building, free traffic, growing downline for your mlm business… The important step in this process is to set up a follow up system and that is not optional but an absolutely MUST. If you are not following up, you are losing a TON of money.
I figured out, and I am sure you did to or you will very quickly that not everyone who visits your website is going to join your mlm business or buy from you the first time and immediately. There are people who do not act right away when they see a good thing.
If you already do not have one, get yourself an autoresponder. I can share with you thousands of success stories of people, including me, who significantly increased their conversion rate by adding autoresponder to their business process. Remember, people will often come back weeks and even months later.
If you do not know what an autoresponder is, let’s learn right now.
Statistically, a potential customer needs to see your ad on an average of 7-12 times before they are confident enough to make a purchase. Autoresponder series will follow up with your mlm leads and prospects via email and substantially increase your conversion rate without your direct and instant intervention. You can write messages, newsletters, follow up e-mail… days and weeks ahead of times. So your autoresponder is building relationship with your prospects for you while you are on vacation. Isn’t this great?
There are a few options, you can either ‘rent’ autoresponder on a monthly basis, or you can buy autoresponder and host yourself. I am only personally familiar with autoresponder that you can rent and I tried two of them: Aweber which I currently use and iContact.
AWeber is my first pick and autoresponder I currently use. This is the autoresponder of choice for top marketers including me. If you intend to create your own capture pages and build your list, this is the autoresponder of choice.
Aweber has very good online live training, great customer support, printable guides, newsletter that provides help and support rather than continualy selling you something.
iContact is another choice. Deliverability is on par with AWeber but it doesn’t have as many features. It is, however, a very close second pick. It is similar to AWeber, but with one advantage. Let’s say that you generate leads with one of your affiliate programs, iContact will allow you to import those leads. You can import them to your iContact account and begin building relationship with them without the need of their confirmation.
It is more affordable than AWeber, however I found it was taking me longer to get around and get things done with iContact. You might also need to know some html so you can “customize” the webforms to your liking.
The best recommendation I can give you is to try the both choices out, just like I did, before you sign out for the monthly subscription. Take advantage of a free trial with iContact and $1 trial with AWeber to figure out what works for you.
As you get going, you might need to make webforms on “the fly” and iContact doesn’t allow for that flexibility. But if you have more time than money, if you are constrained by monthly fees you can afford, iContact might be your choice.
So try them both out before you decide for the long term, but this is not to say you can’t switch to the other one later.
As I mentioned, there are also responders that you can buy and host yourself but I have not try this option. However, my friend Melanie did and she wrote an article on it on her blog and you can access it right here.
My preffered host provider is also HostGator as they offer unlimited server space, meaning you can have many domains, blogs, webpages, capture pages… hosted for the one low price.
Once you implement autoresponder into your business model you will be shocked at how much business you were loosing before and why you didn’t invest in it earlier. Follow up is a MUST as you already know or are about to find out.

Advertise Without Spending A Ton Of Money or Any Money At All
So what is the best ways out there to get free traffic to your site or blog, generate mlm leads and getting more exposure in the process? This is definitely the matter of opinion but believe, it works.
It is no real secret that articles and press releases are a great way to get some good exposure and free mlm leads on the good old natural search in the search engines.
But there are definitely a few tricks you need to know in order to get the MOST benefit out of your efforts.
First is making sure that you pick your keywords
and structure your writing around those keywords.
Using keyword phrases like…
“Generate Endless Free MLM Leads And Cash For Your Home Based Business”
…just one example.
You want to make sure that you use these phrases throughout your writing in a natural form.
And don’t go crazy with them but be sure you use them often while writing that one article or press release.
Another good tip is to make sure you tell a story
and use specific examples.
“I used what I learned in Perry Marshall’s Definitive Guide to Google AdWords to write ads generating free mlm leads instantly!”
You get the idea…
This gives social proof aspect and shows you are real and are not trying to “sell” something.
Then you will always want to end your article with
a call to action and link of some kind.
“For more great information and a free report on how to write effective ads and thus attract an endless new stream of mm leads to you go to (your link).”
But you must peak curiosity in your writing and the only way to get more information is to click on the link and fill out the form.
Once you have one article written,
submit it to 3 to 5 different submission services.
Don’t submit to more than 5 submission site; 5 is plenty and it keeps the content relevant. There are many submission sites that are free. A free submission is more than enough to get started (just Google free article submission sites and you will get many results such as ArticleBase, GoArticles, and Amazines….)
Before you know it, you will be seeing your articles on the search engines for those keywords and getting some good amounts of traffic from your efforts.
The good thing is that if you write a good article your efforts can pay off for months to come.

Ok, so how do you dominate your competition and make millions in whatever business you pursue? Remember, marketing is marketing no matter what industry you’re in. Just read a few tips below that I am about to share with you…

And this simply means that you need to give VALUABLE information freely to your target market.
So let’s say if you are in health/vitamin business, I’d write several articles and reports with content like:
“The 5 Biggest Mistakes People Make When Taking/Buying Vitamins.”
Or…
“The Biggest Kept Secret of Health Industry, And How it Can Help You Live to 100!”
I would optimize these articles with the right keywords for my territory, and then submit them to the web article submission resource sites. (This is a free lead generation strategy by the way…)
Now whenever someone does a search for vitamins, your articles will come up, providing the readers with valuable tips and suggestions.
If I were going to send potential clients a physical ad in the mail, I would NOT promote my prices as the lead-in to the piece.
I WOULD mention them somewhere in the ad so I can capture the guys who are looking and ready to buy TODAY, but they wouldn’t be the primary focus.
I WOULD promote my newsletter or free “Health Secrets” report…
Sell “insiders’ information” on the front end which will put them into your communication pipe-line, position yourself as the “go-to guy”, and then your product or service on the backend.
Now I don’t know the Health/Vitamin Industry, but I DO know that people are always looking for information that will help them make the best decision they can make.
And because you are the author of that information and have your pretty picture on it along with a link to your webpage, you have automatically positioned yourself as an expert in that arena that people will call.
This is EXACTLY what I am doing every day to continue to build my business.

MLM Business Opportunity: How to Make YOUrs Stand Out
MLM business, if done correctly, it needs to add VALUE to your prospects and customers busy lives. If you want their attention, you need to give them a reason why they should buy or join YOU. Yes, they join YOU and not your company.
Your prospect can go out and join any one of a hundred different work- from- home deals. Yours does not stand out as anything special in their minds. But YOU do stand out!
Here is a secret for you, the way multi level marketing is REALLY done, the way the gurus who make as much money in a month as most people make in year, do it is by putting their opportunity on the back burner and forgetting about it. They market them first, they add value to their prospects, and they give without want…first…they teach… and lead… and mentor….
I really want you to think outside the box with me on this one.
We know that having sales skills is essential to success in network marketing and that every kind of business, really, is in the sales business.
BUT… if the ONLY thing that you do is sell to people your MLM opportunity and its company products, then ALL you are is sales rep.
Nothing more.
And if all you are is a sales rep… then no one wants to talk to you.
Why?
Because no one gets excited about having to brainstorm some lame-yet-realistic-sounding excuses as to why they can’t buy what you’re pushing… when really they just don’t have the heart to tell you that they couldn’t care less about you or your “business plan.”
No one likes to be backed into a corner where they’re forced to be rude because you can’t take a hint.
The problem with being “just” a sales rep is that it’s outdated.
People don’t have time to listen to yet another sales pitch.
Let me ask you a question…
What is it that makes sales hard? I mean really, why is it so difficult?
It’s to convince the other person that they want what you have when really… they don’t.
Right?
So… if that’s the case… what if the other person already wants what you have? What if they’re already looking for it?
Then the “type” of selling you have to do is completely different. You’re not pitching them, you’re educating them. You are providing them with a solution to their problem and you are welcomed in their world.
Here’s a little secret for you: The heavy hitters don’t sell business opportunities.
Why?
…because they know that is not what people are looking for.
In fact, a business opportunity is the last thing they want to sell!
No joke!
As I said, to succeed in MLM (the way the gurus do it) is to put your opportunity on the back burner and forget about it.
So what DO the gurus sell?
How could they sell something other than a business opportunity and still build a MASSIVE organization (and make it look easy)?
First and foremost, the heavy hitters, the eagles, only bother with the people who are already looking for what they have.
Secondly, they understand what people are really looking for in the first place. And sothey offered more than an opportunity (one puzzle piece in the overall picture). They offer their customers something of much greater value, something their companies could never provide: Themselves and their expertise.
Third, they learn about sales and marketing techniques from sources other than their company. Because what they were doing was not taught by any company in the industry.
Fourth, they invest in their customers first before they ask for money or any kind of commitment. This might sound corny, but it is the formula that every great marketer has used to build enormously profitable business.
Fifth, they give people a true marketing system with which to build their business. They give them the “how” rather than the “what.”
By doing all this, they set themselves apart from everyone else out there and by doing so, they attracted people to them.
So don’t be afraid to go against the grain and differentiate YOU. Often times this is the best marketing decision you can make.

Network Marketing Business: YOU are in Charge, So Why You Let Strangers Run Your Business
Network marketing business, and industry overall, is a bit complicated, but is it really? Or is it complicated and difficult because no one knows how to run business, I mean any business not just network marketing business. Because there really is no difference.
Did you ever find yourself in one of the below situations?
Like…
… where you generated a great amount of traffic and leads just to find out that you couldn’t freely communicate with them as they ended up in somebody else system? It helps to have YOUR system in place first (before you start marketing) so you can monetize leads with use of your auto responder time and time again…successfully.
Or …
…did you ever market to the wrong niche? Did you know you should research niche (I sure hope you know what niche is) or find out if the niche you’re going after is profitable (and hopefully before you develop products to sell to that niche market). What I mean is, did you ever develop a perfect product just to find out there was no market for it? And then you tried your hardest to sell it with no success?
Or …
…did you ever set up a perfect campaign (or so you thought) on Google, with keywords matching your capture page and capture page matching your ad text and your ad text matching back to your key words…just to find out that Google will never even show your ads (you will have no impressions)? …and Google will not let you bid your way up to the top of the page (trust me…or…find out the hard way).
I can honestly say I am guilty as charged. I‘ve jumped with both feet and hit ground running more than once. I didn’t take time to “think” through the process, I didn’t define the plan for my business; I didn’t sketch out the map, the steps … from begging to the end.
I just did the first thing that came to my mind, the first thing I learned … really … the first thing I read…but most often…the first thing that “flew” at me. I didn’t sort through information that I was being flooded by from all the possible corners … and from everyone who wanted to sell me something…and not something I wanted to buy.
As with any business, you need business strategy. But not designed and defined by anyone and everyone out there, anyone who “pretends” to know what network marketing is about. Your business strategy needs to be defined…well …by you.
It is your business, you are running it, and so it is your call, your decision and your responsibility to get it done successfully (meaning you make money for stakeholders of your business, which at this point might be just you).
Do you think that successful corporations out there run their business based on information coming to their email mailbox every day or they go on internet and casually look for a “guru” to let them know how to run their business? Well…NO!
In order to be successful you need to define your business strategy and the steps how to get there. Once you have your strategy defined and know what you want to accomplish then … and only then you go and look for expertise and “gurus” in those particular fields. But this is the second step not the first one.
It is very important to have strategy first before you start building your business but so many business owners and professionals out there are skipping it or doing it backwards.
It is great to have leads, but if you do not have a plan how to monetize them then … what? They will just sit there and collect dust.
I understand and really, who has time to sit down and think about the business, or anything for that matter? There are so many interruptions and distraction you have to deal with…So many things to do… and everyone is trying to sign you up for their NBT (Next Big Thing).
The best advice I can give you is to be selfish; take the time to do what’s right for you and your business. Do not let others to distract you. Define the steps you need to take and then stick to them. Find the information that you need in order to complete your mission and do not take the one that ended up on your desk as a “ticket” to financial freedom. Do you really think good information just appears on your desk … from nowhere or do you think have to dig deep to find it?
The secret is for you to get the information you need based on your plan and do things according to it rather than doing things in the order defined by others. Who is running your business YOU or them?
So go ahead … enjoy your business success with great strategy defined by YOU.

Online Success: 5 Tips for Building the Backbone for Your Business
To succeed online is not as complicated as one would think or some people like to make you think it is. Here are a few simple steps that will do 90% of “heavy lifting” for your internet presence.
Sure, if you’re Amazon.com then you’ve got a huge, complicated business. But for most people regardless of what you sell, a successful sales machine has five or six components and a handful of simple web pages.
So…what are those five or six components? Please read on as I am going to share that with you right now.
1. A few landing pages, also known as capture or squeeze pages
Depending on your traffic generation strategy, let’s use example of Google AdWords (PPC or pay per click) traffic and leads generation strategy. So in this case you want to ensure that you match ads and keywords to those landing pages perfectly.
If you use writing articles and posting them on free article submission sites as your traffic generation strategy then you want to make sure that your keywords appear in your title and the first sentence of your first paragraph and are well matched with your landing pages seamlessly.
2. Google ads well matched to a handful of strategic keywords (the same applies to articles where you need well written articles perfectly matched to a few tactical keywords…you get the idea)
3. Offer on the landing page that engages with what the customer really wants
In many, if not most cases, this should collect information such as name, an email and phone number… But be careful, the more information you ask for, the less likely people are going to fill out the form.
Free information you offer (in a form of e-book, tutorial, video …) must be of genuine value, something that your potential customers are desperately looking for and want. You need to offer your visitors something of high value (in their eyes and not yours) for the trade for their personal information.
4. A series of follow up emails
And not just any lousy emails but emails where you build relationship and educate your customers, directing them to the next step which is sale, consultation, or phone call…
Don’t forget, you have to provide value and great content. You are here to help your customers with their problem and not to give them another one.
5. Continuous improvement of steps 1 through 4
I could write an entire book about every single step of this process, but don’t ever lose sight of the fact that the big picture is really, really simple.
Remember, even though you might have many pages on your website (and you do not even need website, I’d recommend to start with blog for one simple reason being that Google indexes blog much better and much, much faster than webpage), 90% of the productivity will come from just a few of them.
So in the summary … and in a few words: there are only 3 to 4 things standing between you and the next level of success.

There is Only One of YOU: Anyone Can Do It
There is only one of you and only you can do certain things that can’t be done by anyone else; or at least not at the same level of expertise. Every time you hear someone saying to you, “Absolutely anybody can do this”, you need to hang on to your check book.
I do not believe that “Absolutely anybody can do …” any specific thing; at least not to a level that the world would richly reward it.
Let’s take, for example, some of the stuff Perry Marshall teaches. Can anyone build a Google campaign, write ads that get clicks and make the CTR’s get better and better with testing?
Sure they can.
Can anyone and everyone expertly build and manage $20,000 of clicks each month?
No. I don’t think so.
The extraordinarily successful people have in the Adwords game are the ones who somehow ‘crawl inside’ of the campaign and feel what all those numbers and columns mean… who are able to sense what those visitors are clicking on and why.
They can look at somebody’s ad campaign and in 10 seconds know whether it’s put together right, or not. Those are the ones who manage $10,000 or $100,000 of clicks every month and make it profitable.
There is “the doing of the thing”, and then there is “the Art Factor”. The art factor comes into play when your heart and soul get connected to it, when you are able to crawl inside the thing and live in it and breathe it. If you can do that, you can pick up the art factor. Then you can master it.
What world are YOU able to crawl inside of? Can you crawl inside your customers’ minds? Can you imagine you’re a web page and readers are listening as you talk to them and you know how they are answering back? Can you become so absorbed with your customers that you become one of them?
What did you do in your “prior” life that you are able to bring into network marketing and your business? What it is that you can share with your audience and enrich their lives? What do you understand so well that gives you awesome advantage over the others, over your competitors? What do you love to do most of all, because if you do what you love the success is within the reach.
Most importantly, there is only one of YOU. You are unique with very unique set of skills that nobody out there posses. Take advantage of it! Put it together and share with the world. Show off your skills, show of your uniqueness…
Whatever microscope is so fascinating to you that you can crawl down inside it and imagine yourself living down there; if it’s an audience that has money to give that is the way you’re going to make the millions.
Will “absolutely anybody” be able to do what you do? Not on your life. You can’t buy marketing for your business on a showroom floor the way you buy a car. USP’s (see Dan Kennedy) don’t just roll off assembly lines every 45 seconds. There will be a few who can rival you. And nobody will be able to sell somebody a road map to your pot of gold for $49.95 either.
If I could encourage you in any way possible, it would be this: be patient with yourself as you explore and unfold the unique gifts that you alone possess, and to wrap those gifts and talents into your products, the services you offer, and your marketing, so that NO ONE can knock you off. Build YOU and market YOU before you do anything else.
The world will richly reward you for fulfilling that vision.
There are plenty of cubicle drones and paint-by-numbers people in the world… I hope you’ll aspire to put out some of your own original pizzazz, put your own fingerprints on what you do. Do the thing that you alone can do and love.
